A VERY RARE SMALL CELADON-GLAZED WATERPOT QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY Of globular form with a short foot and slightly everted mouth rim, incised with two sinuous chilong amongst lingzhi and scrolling foliage, covered overall in an even pale celadon glaze, the base with a spurious six-character Xuande mark in underglaze-blue 3 3/4 in. (9.5 cm.) diam.
