A VERY RARE SMALL BRONZE RITUAL WINE VESSEL AND COVER, FANGLEI LATE SHANG DYNASTY, 11TH CENTURY BC Raised on a tall flared foot, each facet of the high-shouldered, tapering body cast with a taotie mask, below a band of dragons confronted on a mask on two sides and a loop handle on the other two sides, all the bands of decoration divided by flanges, as are those on the facets of the canted cover below the faceted finial, with inscription cast on the inside of the neck of the vessel and the same inscription cast on the inside of the cover 12½ in. (31.5 cm.) high, box
