A very large Meissen heavily gilt floral Krater-shaped vase and cover 19th century, marked with underglaze blue crossed swords above 12. The waisted body painted in colours and moulded in slight relief with four light green ogival cartouches painted with bouquets of Deutsche Blumen , the upper and lower border and the high waisted foot moulded in relief with stylised gilt vine-leaf motifs, the waisted cover decorated en suite with a border of upright leaves alternating hearts, with large cone and leaf finial (some rubbing to the gilt) 75 cm. high
