Apart of scattered very slight wear to the top pile on side border, this rug had full pile, soft silk quality. Selvages original. Ends with short fringes, slightly fraying. Very fine weave, approx: 9 x 9 knots per sq. cm; woven on silk foundation. In general this rug is in very good usable condittion. Attractive piece.
