A very fine accumulation in three large cartons, extensive Great Britain including a selection of pre-stamp period, 1840 1d. black on entires or pieces (12), later Q.V. line-engraved on entires, 1892 Jubilee 4½d. mint sheetlet of twenty, K.G.V with controls and watermark errors, 1929 P.U.C. £1 used, also Post Office Training School cancellations on K.G.VI multiples, meter cancellation specimens, a fine British Empire range in a "New Ideal" ablum with Australia 1932 Bridge 5/- used, later 'Roo "Specimen" overprints to £2, Falkland Is., Hong Kong, India and States, Malaya, Malta, Nauru 1916 to 2/6d. mint, New Zealand, later Q.E.II period in two "New Age" albums; the European and overseas in various albums and stockbooks (including two "New Ideal") with Belgium, China, France, Germany, Greece, Netherlands, Persia, Russia, Spain 1901-05 2c. to 10p. (including 40c. rose) mint, Switzerland; also a miscellaneous group including a large quantity of Canadian 19th. century tobacco and snuff tax labels in lovely unused condition, though heavily duplicated.
