A travel agents display model of the Italian liner Leonardo da Vinci Arthur G. Henning, Inc. (American, 20th century) A waterline model, built up in wood lifts, faired, sanded and painted in Italian line livery with white topsides, a green sheer stripe, inset brass port holes along the topsides, windows modeled with decals, and the decks painted light tan in color. The model is fitted with a number of details which include: anchors, anchor windlass, bollards, cargo cranes, hatches, built up super structures, bridge and bridge wings, main mast, 12 life boats rigged on davits, ventilators, funnel painted in Italian line colors, pools surrounded with deck chairs, umbrellas, Italian flag at the stern, as well as other details. The model is displayed in a new brass bound glass display case with a mahogany base and stand. On either side of the model is mounted a brass plaque with the ship's name and other details. 51¾ x 13¾ x 51 in. (131.4 x 35 x 129.5 cm.) cased dimensions on stand.
