A superb set of three medals relating to The Society of Mayflower Descendants and The Society of the Daughters of the Revolution. 1) General Society of Mayflower Descendants, 14ct gold, obv. Mayflower with "Plymouth" below, rev. name of society with central engraving "Frances Beardsley Collier 2366 14119". With gold and enamel lapel badge. Contained in leather case with Mayflower embossed on lid. 2) Daughters of Founders & Patriots of America 1607-1898, gold and enamel breast badge, reverse arms engraved "Frances Collier Beardsley, 4071". With gold brooch engraved "William Beardsley Samuel Beardsley" and gold and enamel lapel badge. 3) National Society, Daughters of the American Colonists, 14 ct. gold and enamel, reverse engraved "Frances Beardsley Collier 5703" with gold brooch bar engraved "California" together with gold and enamel lapel badge. Contained in J.E.Caldwell, Jewelers and Silversmiths, Philadelphia, cases of issue. Extremely fine. (3)
