A static display model of the John Alden designed schooner Malabar X a solid hull with a dark green bottom, a white waterline, black topsides and a gold cove stripe. The decks are planked and fitted with a number of details which include deck houses, companionways, anchors, anchor windlass, cleats, traveler bars, hatches, skylights, running lights, binnacle, wheel, turning blocks, and other details. Rigged as a schooner with two masts, standing and running rigging, mast hoops in brass, a full suit of cotton sails, and other rigging details. Mounted on a pair of turned brass pedestals and displayed within a mahogany framed glass case with display stand. 74 x 45 in. (188 x 114.3 cm.) cased on stand. (2)
