A SILVER-INLAID BRONZE TRIPOD WINE VESSEL, JUE QING DYNASTY, 17TH/18TH CENTURY The deep body is raised on three silver-inlaid blade-form supports and is cast with two registers of taotie masks on a leiwen ground and seperated by narrow notched flanges. One mask is centred on a C-shaped handle surmounted by a bovine head below a pair of posts with whorl-cast caps rising from the rim.
