A set of six George III silver egg-cups Mark of Paul Storr London, 1811 Vase-shaped and on partly-fluted circular foot, with moulded mid-rib and guilloche rim, each engraved with a crest within garter and motto, each marked on side 2½in. (6.5cm) high 16oz. (515gr.) The crest is that of Duckworth presumably for Admiral John Thomas Duckworth (1747-1818) of Topsham, co. Devon, a distinguished naval officer, who was created a baronet in 1813. (6)
