A set of nine Minton pierced 'Still Life' plates, 1880
each well painted with a still life of flowers and leaves issuing from precious objects within a border pierced and gilt with paterae and key pattern, printed crowned globe marks and retailer's mark for T. Goode and Co., London, impressed marks, registration lozenge for 1874 and year cypherseach 24cm. diameter
Condition reportOverall of good appearance. The Chinese cloisonné example has a faint stress crack to the border between 10 and 1 o'clock. The example with the turquoise funghi vase has a section tot he rim broken and restored, possibly along an old stress factor. The example with the crackleware vase has rubbing to the gilt and enamel stand. The Russian cloinne example, the Egyptian glass vase, the facon de Venise example and the Iznik jug example are in good order.
