A SET OF FOUR GEORGE III SILVER-GILT WINE-COOLERS, COLLARS AND LINERS MARK OF PHILIP RUNDELL LONDON, 1818, RETAILED BY RUNDELL, BRIDGE AND RUNDELL Each campana-shaped and on shaped square base with acanthus cast bracket feet, the stem applied with a cast coat-of-arms below an earl's coronet and flanked by cast heraldic supporters, the body applied with fruiting grapevines and with reeded handles, with plain detachable collars and liners, the liners engraved with a crest below an earl's coronet, each marked near handle, underneath, on collar, liner and most detachable elements, further stamped underneath 'RUNDELL BRIDGE ET RUNDELL AURIFICES REGIS ET PRINCIPIS WALLæ LONDINI 10 in. (25.7 cm.) high 897 oz. (27,899 gr.) The arms are those of Vane, for William Harry, 3rd Earl of Darlington and later 1st Duke of Cleveland (1766-1842) and his second wife Elizabeth, daughter of Robert Russell a market gardener, whom he married in 1813. (4)
