A SET OF ELEVEN GEORGE III MAHOGANY DINING-CHAIRS CIRCA 1790, ALMOST CERTAINLY DESIGNED BY HENRY HOLLAND AND EXECUTED BY FRANCOIS HERVE Each with padded back and seat covered in green-painted red close-nailed morocco leather, the channelled slightly breakfront toprail above a tapering back, the seat above a channelled rail with central rosette, on rosette-headed turned tapering fluted legs with full height stop-flutes and on pinched spade feet, previously caned, stamped with the '1861' inventory, with batten carrying-holes, inscribed in chalk 'H.RR', with ash blocks, several seats distressed, one with broken back and still with red morocco leather covering, another also still with red morocco cover and lacking one front leg (11)
