A Renaissance Revival Carved Oak Writing Desk late 19th century in three parts, the superstructure having a foliate scroll carved crest above a long drawer flanked by two short drawers on each side, the base having a rectangular top above a long drawer flanked by two short drawers on each side, raised on twist carved legs joined by similarly worked stretchers. Height 46 x width 51 1/4 x depth 26 inches. Estimate $ 700-900 In overall good, stable, usable condition. All carved elements seem present Refinished. All drawers open and close smoothly, two of the lower drawers with locks, each having a separate key. Writing slide pulls out but sticks a little. Oak secondary wood.
