A REGENCY EBONY-INLAID AND EBONISED SATINWOOD CARD-TABLE EARLY 19TH CENTURY The rounded rectangular top crossbanded in rosewood and inlaid with lines, enclosing a green baize-lined playing-surface both sliding and swivelling above a mahogany-lined well, the panelled frieze centred by a lozenge, on ring-turned trestle end-supports joined by a ring-turned baluster stretcher, on downswept legs with foliate brass caps and castors, the back rail and underside inscribed in pencil '2 IIII' 29¼ in. (74.5 cm.) high; 36 in. (91.5 cm.) wide; 18 in. (45.5 cm.) deep
