A RARE EARLY BRONZE RITUAL TRIPOD WINE VESSEL, JUE EARLY SHANG, ERLIGANG PERIOD, CIRCA 1600-1500 BC Of lenticular section, the lower body with rounded profile and flat bottom raised on three blade-shaped supports, the mid-section cast in low thread relief with simplified taotie between bow-string borders, with a strap handle on one side, and two tiny posts with V-shaped caps rising from the rim at the back of the long, narrow spout 5¾ in. (14.7 cm.) high, 6¼ in. (15.8 cm.) long
