A rare Chinese doucai dragon dish, the centre painted with a vibrant five clawed dragon grasping the flaming pearl of wisdom, the border with five cloud scrolls. The reverse decorated with smaller clouds above breaking waves. The base with a six character Qianlong seal mark in underglaze blue and of the period 1736-95. Two tiny rim chips. 15.2cm.
