circa 1755 modelled by Joseph Willems as the head of a lady with rosy cheeks and eyes looking upwards, her grey hair held in a bun at the back and decorated with ears of corn, the interior painted with a flower spray and five smaller scattered sprigs, a stiff leaf border inside the interior rim, the hinged gold mount containing a blue Venetian glass cover with aventurine inclusions, 6.5cm high (short and fine crack just to the right of the chin, crack to glass cover)
