A RARE CARVED QINGBAI FOLIATE ' CHILONG ' BOWL SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY (1127-1279) The bowl is well potted with rounded sides rising to a slightly flared rim which is divided into six shallow lobes. The interior is fluidly incised with two chilong contesting a flaming pearl, the exterior with two large peony sprays with combed details. It is covered overall with a transparent glaze of pale blue tone with the exception of the centre of the base revealing the biscuit body. 7 3/4 in. (19.6 cm.) diam., box
