A RARE AMERICAN SILVER COFFEE POT MARK OF GEORGE HENDEL, CARLISLE, PENNSYLVANIA, CIRCA 1790 Vase form on a square foot, the cover with urn finial, the base, body, cover, spout and handle joins decorated with beading, the body engraved on one side with contemporary monogram TRF and on the other with a later coat-of-arms, the foot also engraved with later family inscriptions, marked four times under base 15¼ in. (38.7 cm.) high; 38 oz. (1,185 gr.) gross weight
