A quantity of albums pertaining to the Wedgwood, Vessey, Abington family includes various albums including a journal of ecclesiastical / Gloucestershire interest from 1831-1853 mentioning Rudhall of Gloucester and cash for bells, Elcombe, Pucklechurch, Kingswood, letters asking for charity etc; albums of pressed flowers, black and white photos, two Carte Visites of portraits and continental scenes and an unusual semi circular Carte Visite with family portraits; a superb black and white large format photograph album, probably Edwardian, containing professional or exceptionally good quality amateur photographs of the South Coast, North Devon and Bristol Avon, scenes include beaches with bathing huts, a busy harbour possibly Tenby, sailing boats, piers, Lynmouth, Lynton, Clifton, Avon Gorge and suspension bridge etc. Also included is war damage commission paperwork relating to 19 Botham Grove, Bristol belonging to the Vesseys, loose photographs and postcards including Victorian shooting scenes, West Country scenes, piers, railways, memoriam cards for various Wedgwood, Abington and Vessey family members and various letters relating to the same family.
