A QAJAR ENAMELLED SILVER NARGILEH in two sections, the drop-shaped base with pointed tip, small finial and gilt lobed opening above, a band of ridged silver vertical strips around the middle, a broad band above and below enamelled with figural cartouches surrounded by repoussé silver flowers on a blue ground, narrow bands of gilt meandering floral sprays above and below, the similarly decorated narrow pipe rising to a wide everted mouth with four chains attached below, probably Shiraz, mid 19th century (very slight damages and repair) overall 16½in. (42cm.) high
