A PEACHBLOOM-GLAZED BRUSH WASHER, TANGLUO XI KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722) The compressed globular body is covered on the exterior with a glaze of soft rose color suffused with pale green speckles and thins to a pale pink tone on one side of the body. The interior and base are glazed white. 4 5/8 in. (11.7 cm.) diam. Provenance Kate Sturges Buckingham (1858–1937) Collection, Chicago, before 1926.
