A PARCEL-GILT TEA GLASS HOLDER AND A TEASPOON THE TEA GLASS HOLDER, MARK OF ALEKSANDR SOKOLOV, ST PETERSBURG, 1871; THE TEASPOON, MARK OF FREDRIK FRESEN, ST PETERSBURG, CIRCA 1850-1860s The tea glass holder of hexagonal shape, cast and chased as a traditional izba , applied with figures of peasant men and women, the handle shaped as a tree trunk with scrolling leaves, on three feet shaped as tree roots, with a later glass, marked under base ; the teaspoon with ovoid bowl, the octagonal stem with shaped finial cast and chased as a dancing peasant, marked on stem, also with import marks The tea glass holder 4 7/8 in.
