Each with a 1¾x1¼" oval faux ivory carving affixed to upper portion of each, both etched with a golfer, one lettered "Harry Vardon, 6th Open Championship-1913" and one lettered "Old Tom Morris, Grand old Man of Golf 1867." Measures 6½" tall, base 5¼x4". * A faux ivory two-part box with loose lid containing a wooden mid-to-late 1800's club head and a faux ivory feathery ball on the top, various etched golfing decorations to inside of lid and around edges. Lettered around edges: "Old Tom Morris 1867, the Grand Old Man of Golf; Artisans Model of the Driver by Hugh Philp of St. Andrew's; And the Feathery Ball by John Gourlay of Edinburgh; Used by Old Tom Morris in 'The Great Foursomes' match of 1849." Tiny made in England sticker, laid inside box, which has hand-colored yellow tarnishing. Together, a matching pair of bookends and a box with loose lid, both with thin velvet coating on the bottom.
