The dating of this lot is consistent with the result of a thermoluminescence test (Oxford test no. 666p89), as stated in the Christie's New York catalogue in 1993. Certificate lost.

One with restored breaks to the top and bottom of all four legs, and also to the body, mouth, and the front of the base. The other camel with restored breaks to the top and bottom of all four legs. There are areas of repainting and touching up throughout. General glaze flakes and surface wear.
一雙駱駝均見修理。其一四肢頂、底裂經修復，亦見於身體、口及前底部。另一四肢頂、底裂亦見修復。整體見剝釉及器面磨痕。
