A PAIR OF JADEITE AND AMETHYST-INLAID GILT-METAL TABLE LAMPS THE MOUNT STAMPED EDWARD I. FARMER, NEW YORK , CIRCA 1920 Each is of square section and raised on jadeite and amethyst ball supports. The canted sides of the base are cast in openwork with flower sprays and inlaid with three oval and one hexagonal pierced jadeite plaques, and the central column is similarly cast and inlaid with amethyst roundels on each side of the square center section. The maker's mark is stamped on the base, which is centered by a hinged door. Each facet of the octagonal shade is alternately inlaid with a pierced jadeite rectangular or oval plaque and the top with a large circular plaque pierced with a figure amidst large flower stems. 15 3/8 in.
