A PAIR OF GEORGE III SILVER SAUCEBOATS MARK OF WILLIAM SKEEN, LONDON, 1766 With gadroon rims, on a fluted lozenge-shaped foot chased with stylised shells 7¼ in. (18.4 cm.) high; 8 5/8 in. (21.8 cm.) long 44 oz. (1364 gr.) The arms are those of Hanmer quartering Talbot and Powis with a label for difference and Bucknall quartering Skipp in pretence, for the 1808 marriage of Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Hanmer (eldest son of Sir Thomas Hanmer 2 n d baronet of Hanmer, Flintshire), of Bettisfield Park, Salop to Arabella Skipp-Dyot Bucknall of Hampton Court, Middlesex (2)
