A PAIR OF FAMILLE ROSE LIME-GREEN-GROUND FOLIATE-RIMMED OVAL TRAYS JIAQING SIX-CHARACTER MARKS IN IRON-RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1796-1820) Each dish is decorated to the centre of the interior with a shaped cartouche enclosing an inscription in iron-red, ending with a Jiaqing dingsi cyclical date, corresponding to 1797, all surrounded by floral scrolls on a lime-green ground divided by gilt bands at the well and rim. The exterior is similarly decorated with lotus blooms and scrolling foliage and the dish is supported on four low feet highlighted in iron-red. 6 ¼ in.
