The English porcelain plate appears to be of slightly later date and may be a replacement or matching for one of the Nantgarw services of this pattern. Interestingly, the bird panel appears to be an almost exact copy of that on the Nantgarw square dish illustrated by W D John, Nantgarw Porcelain Album (1975), illustration 19.
