The hull planked up from the keel to the waist in ivory, and the waist is planked in mahogany. The gun decks are planked in ivory separated by bands of mahogany. The decks of the model are covered with ivory veneer which has been scored to replicate deck planking. The model is fitted with quarter galleries which are of ivory and are scored with ornamental motifs between the windows. The transom is also of ivory, with three balconies detailed with brass railings, four windows, two gunports and a heavily carved center floral motif at the top of the transom. The model has numerous other details including: a carved and polychromed figurehead, bow nets, anchors, anchor rode floats, pin and fife rails, coils of line, water buckets, brass cannons, stove pipe, belfry, ships boat on cradle, skylight, ship's wheel, deck rings, flagstaff and numerous other details. The model is well rigged with three masts, trees and tops, standing and running rigging, spars, bowsprit, and other rigging.
