A MIXED METAL SILVER AND COPPER KETTLE ON COPPER STAND AND LAMP, maker's mark of Gorham, 1882, no. 85, the compressed spherical copper kettle with facet hammer finish, applied with various birds in flight, large wheat sheaves, salamander, a male figure practicing T'ai Chi, and with large ginko branch, the plain detachable cover with dished fluted center and topped by ball finial, the fixed overhead handle composed of two scroll supports with wood mid section, the plain surfaced circular stand applied three times with low scroll supports to the kettle, on three ball and claw feet, with foliate join, with plain burner-- tea kettle on stand over handle 10¾in. (27.3cm.) high
