A MESOPOTAMIAN OR ELAMITE TUBULAR CUDGEL, ribbed terminals, the upper body with three relief panels of herringbone design, separated by double rows of vertical ridges -- 7 5/8in. (19.3cm.) long, late 3rd millennium B.C. ; and a large group of Luristan bronzes, including a leaf-shaped spearhead, the flattened midrib extending into shouldered tang, with projecting tapered spike -- 15in. (38.1cm.) long; a shafted macehead, the ribbed shaft with swelling at top with six projecting knobs, mounted -- 3¾in. (9.5cm.) high; a large adze, the tubular shaft with projecting knobs and herringbone pattern, mounted -- 6½in. (16.5cm.) across; a pair of penannular armlets with alternating bands of incised chevron and hatched decoration -- both 4 5/8in. (11.7cm.) diam.; a jointed horse-bit with twisted canons and large terminal rings -- 7 7/8in. (20cm.) long; and three buckle-rings with connecting spikes -- 3 5/8in. (9.2cm.) long max.; all circa 1200-600 B.C. (a lot)
