Kaendler , of slightly flattened baluster form, with a flared lip and scroll terminal, with a leaf-moulded scroll handle tied with a purple ribbon and surmounted by a bird, profusely-decorated with closely packed flowerheads and pompoms issuing from stalks and leaves, applied with models of golden oriele and a paraquet, the spreading oval foot applied with two models of finches (some old restoration to the two larger birds, some other minor damages to leaves and flowers, light rubbing to gilding) 23¾ in. (60.3 cm.) high
