ONE PAIR MARK OF CHARLES MULLIN, THE OTHER MARK OF WILLIAM BOND ALL DUBLIN, 1770
A MATCHED SET OF FOUR GEORGE III IRISH SILVER SALVERS ONE PAIR MARK OF CHARLES MULLIN, THE OTHER MARK OF WILLIAM BOND ALL DUBLIN, 1770 With gadroon borders, on three hoof feet, the centres engraved with armorial within a rococo cartouche, each with a presentation inscription engraved underneath, ' Presented to Lord & Lady Harmsworth to commemorate the Peerage conferred upon them by His Majesty on the 1st January 1939 and as a mark of esteem and respect from the Directors of The Western Morning News ' and ' The Field ', contained in an oak presentation box inlaid with engraved brass plaque of the initial H beneath a baron's coronet, and with two engraved plaques to the interior Percy Webster, 17 Queen St. Mayfair and Four silver salvers, Dublin 1770 7¼ in. (18.4 cm.) diameter 36.5 oz. (1133 gr.) (4)
