A Louis XV Style Giltwood Console Table 19th century having a shaped marble top with a molded edge above the conforming frieze centered with a carved shell issuing foliate scrolls and flanked by latticework reserves, raised on legs formed of C-scrolls carved to show bellflower swags and terminating in scroll feet, further joined by a similarly worked stretcher centered with a shell. Height 35 3/4 x width 33 3/8 x depth 15 inches. Estimate $ 1,000-2,000 In decent, stable, usable condition. Marble top stable but with repaired crack running from back to front roughly in the center, ending in an area of fill.
