A LOUIS XIV ORMOLU-MOUNTED PEWTER, IVORY AND STAINED HORN-INLAID EBONY AND FRUITWOOD BOULLE MARQUETRY CABINET ON A GILTWOOD STAND CIRCA 1675-1690, in the manner of Pierre Gole Decorated overall with densely scrolled foliage and flowerheads, the rectangular moulded cornice above an architectural façade with twelve drawers arranged around a central cupboard door inlaid with a flower filled vase, surmounted by an arched cresting and flanked by pilasters, enclosing a mirrored stage set interior with four fitted drawers and three concealed drawers, the sides decorated with twin handled vases issuing floral sprays with tulips and lilies, the stand with three frieze drawers above four herm supports with Corinthian capitals and acanthus-wrapped bases, representing the four seasons, joined by a shaped under tier decorated with panels of floral sprays, on acanthus carved feet 72 in. (185 cm.) high; 56 in. (143 cm.) wide; 19 in. (50.5 cm.) deep
