(A) LOT OF 2 COLT MODEL 1860 PERCUSSION REVOLVERS WITH REBATED CYLINDERS.

Lot consist of: (A) Colt Model 1860 Army percussion revolver. Made 1868. Round, steel barrel marked "ADDRESS COL. SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA" on top. Left side of the frame is marked "COLTS/PATENT" with "44" stamped on the trigger guard. Barrel, frame, trigger guard, butt, and cylinder are all matching. Naval engagement scene still visible on the cylinder. Blade front sight has been filed down. Blued barrel and cylinder with casehardened lever, frame, and hammer. Brass front grip strap with a blued steel rear. Barrel, hammer, frame, and grip straps have been engraved with scroll scenes. Aftermarket pearl style grips with eagle emblem on the left side. CONDITION: Metal retains little to none of its original finish with a grey patina forming in most areas. Brass shows signs of cleaning. Grips are good with scratches and a crack on the rear of the left side. Some light pitting near the muzzle of the bore with very good retained rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Mechanically fine with good timing. Nipples show signs of heavy use. (B) Colt Model 1860 Army percussion revolver. Made 1861. Round, steel barrel marked "ADDRESS COL. SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA" on top. Left side of the frame is marked "COLTS/PATENT". 4-screw model for mounting shoulder stock. Barrel, frame, trigger guard, butt, and cylinder are all matching. Naval engagement scene still visible on the cylinder. Blued barrel and cylinder with casehardened lever, frame, and hammer. Brass front grip strap with a blued steel rear. Original walnut grip. CONDITION: Metal retains 50% of its original finish with areas of wear and patina. Grip straps have signs of polish. Grips are very good with light scratches. Shiny bore with very good rifling left. Tight hammer and cylinder. Mechanically fine with good timing. Nipples show signs of light use.
