A LARGE MATCHED PAIR OF VIENNA STYLE PORCELAIN IRIDESCENT-CLARET GROUND PORTRAIT VASES, 'BEATRICE UND JULIA' AND 'ROSEN' LATE 19TH/20TH CENTURY, IRON-RED BEEHIVE MARKS, FAINT PATTERN NO. 1312 AND 9939., SIGNED H. WEIGEL AND WAGNER Each of baluster form, one finely painted with a single beauty in a garden plucking petals from a rose, inscribed on the base as being after the original by Von Ottor , the other with a bust-length portrait of two maidens, one wearing a peacock headdress, her companion wearing garlands of flowers, both reserved within gilt oval surrounds, the neck, body, conforming socle and base enriched with gilt foliate motifs including turquoise 'jewels' in the Art Nouveau taste 37 5/8 in.
