A LARGE LONGQUAN CELADON CARVED CHARGER MING DYNASTY, 15TH CENTURY Heavily potted with rounded sides, the interior carved in the center with trellis diaper below a band of peony scroll in the well, the four flowers alternately shown from the side and from above, covered overall with a glaze of olive-green tone except for a wide unglazed ring on the base which has burnt orange in the firing 19¼ in. (49 cm.) diam.
