♡ A LARGE GEORGIAN STYLE MAHOGANY EXTENSION DINING TABLE The rounded corners with reeded edges, standing on pedestal supports with splayed legs on brass claw feet caps on castors, with nine leaves supported on an extension base, the engraved maker's label bearing 'Millwood Cabinet Making' underneath 73cm high, 596cm long (fully extended), 114cm wide PROVENANCE: Contents of Toorak Mansion, Trawalla. The stately 19th Century home featuring seven bedrooms, two dining rooms, a billiard room, a study, and two sitting rooms, was tastefully restored in the late 2000s by highly regarded Australian interior designer, the late Stuart Rattle.The restoration showcased his fine attention to detail and effortless ability to merge colours, styles, and patterns into one unified aesthetic; always subtly paying homage to classical motifs and early English design. Estimate $1,500-2,000 Condition: Overall good condition with a few light scratches and dents, some leaves have slight variations in tone.
