A LARGE BRONZE BEAKER AND COVER MIDDLE WARRING STATES PERIOD, 4TH CENTURY BC The tall vessel with plain sides tapering towards a spreading foot and applied on the upper body with two taotie mask handles suspending loose rings, the slightly domed cover centered by a tiny nipple encircled by four concentric rings and four upright loop handles, with mottled olive-grey patina and areas of encrustation, and some wood splinters adhering 13¼ in. (33.7 cm.) high
