A LANGYAO PEAR-SHAPED VASE KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722) The vase is raised on a tall spreading foot and covered overall with a mottled, crackled glaze of crushed strawberry tone thinning to a pale celadon color at the mouth rim and stopping neatly above the foot ring. The base and interior are covered with a transparent crackled glaze of pale celadon tone. 10 ¼ in. (26 cm.) high Provenance Russell Tyson (1867-1963) Collection, Chicago.
