Constructed of hardboard with wooden frame and edging and painted in pale green, the layout represents the up-to-date product range as available in 1961, with one of the special display advertising nameboards 'See the new Hornby-Dublo' (paper surface mostly torn away) . Controllers and switches are located in one corner. Some buildings and stock are now detached, and no locomotives or rolling stock remain with the layout --92in. (234cm.) long, 55in. (140cm.) wide, 1961 (F, some marking and dirt, some damage and splitting to edging, some alteration to switch control area)
