A group of Turkish and North African textile fragments 19th and 20th century comprising of a pair of Moroccan red floral applique and cut work `Haiti' (136cm. x 78cm. and 135cm. x 80cm.); three panels of foliate claret coloured cut velvet with yellow ground (48cm. x 52cm., 43cm. x 37cm., 35cm. x 52cm.); two narrow rectangular panels of claret and green cut velvet with copper coloured ground, covered with small flowers and leaves (103cm. x 79cm. and 89cm. x 70cm.); five further runner panels of machine made green and brown floral damask (worn); a Turkish, 19th century, `Hereke' voided velvet yastik (cushion facing) of claret and green copper coloured ground, with outer bands of scrolling leaves and central field of floral motifs and scattered small foliate motifs (99cm. x 61cm.)
