A GROUP OF IVORY, ENAMEL AND GEM-SET OBJECTS, BY FREDERIC BOUCHERON** Comprising four carved ivory and enamelled objects of foliate motif: a scent bottle with green enamelled leaves and cabochon ruby detail, the top and reverse enhanced by cabochon sapphires; a powder case with yellow, orange and purple enamelled floral motif, the top centering upon a cabochon ruby, opening to reveal a feather powder-puff with carved ivory handle; a carved ivory stamp box of rectangular outline, depicting birds, foliage, architectural motifs, and various musicians, to the geometric enamelled trim, opening to reveal three compartments, with cabochon ruby push-piece and a hinged front; a highly decorated ink well with sculpted gold female sphinx on the lid, the sides depicting various classical mythological images, to the sculpted gold cherub and mask feet, opening to reveal a glass ink compartment, mounted in 18k gold, circa 1880, with French assay marks and maker's marks, in a Boucheron red leather fitted case Signed F.
