A group of four Japanese netsuke, 18th and 19th Century the first three of wood: a demon in despair after clambering up onto a huge clawed and severed arm, metal himotoshi, signed Shuzan; oni seated with a human in his arms, eyes, horns and fangs inlaid, sealed; a demon on an upside down turned basket, the latter with Okames face in metal; the last of ivory of oni seated with a large bucket -- 2¾in. (7cm.) high max. (4)
