A glazed display frame containing a presentation sword, medals and decorations, together with a further group of medals and additional documents the mameluke-hilted officer's sword, with an original pair of Royal Artillery epaulettes, a group of 14 miniature Orders and medals (Order of the Bath (C.B.), D.S.O. and Bar, M.C., 1914 Star and Bar, British War Medal, Victory Medal, 1939-45 Star, Africa Star with 8thArmy clasp, Burma Star, Defence Medal, 1939-45 War Medal with M.i.D. emblem, Jubilee 1935, Coronation 1937 and France, Légion d’Honneur) and also the following full-sized Decorations which are believed to be non-original to the recipient but assembled to represent his awards: The Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Military Division, Companion’s neck badge; Distinguished Service Order, George VI (an original badge but with unofficial suspension dated 1946 and with a tailor’s copy of a Bar), copy Military Cross, George VI, undated, and a good original Légion d’Honneur neck badge in gold and enamels believed to date from before the Great War, all mounted for display; together with R.A. pennant and related original documents comprising Warrants for the M.C., 8 July 1941, C.B., 13 June 1945 and two Mentions in Despatches, 1 April 1941 and 30 December 1941 and also copied research including copy photographs and London Gazette entries and recommendations for both D.S.O.s and, a 1939-45 Star and Burma Star (both unnamed as issued), Defence and War Medals (both unofficially impressed) and 1953 Coronation (engraved Capt., Rouge Dragon Poursuivant), with a duplicate War Medal (also unofficially impressed); miniatures of the two Stars, War and Coronation Medals, miniature Order of Malta badge and miniature San Marino, Order of St Agatha badge (this in case of issue with space for full-sized award) and Serbia, Order of St Sava, full-sized type 3 Companion’s neck badge, width 51.5mm (attributed to Robin de la Lanne-Mirrlees); together with related documents including: Warrants for Italy, Constantinian Order of St George (Knight Cross by Right, 27 Oct. 1960), San Marino, Order of S Agatha (Cavaliere, 9 March 1960) and also large Yugoslavian Royal Decrees dated 29 September 1963 in Paris for Knight Grand Cross the Order of St Sava and Appointment as personal aide-de-camp to Peter II of Yugoslavia; also several further (smaller) Royal Decrees signed by Peter II in four to uniform fine bindings in gilt calf by Zaehnsdorf, London and comprising: Royal Order of St Sava, appointment as Knight Grand Cross (29 September 1963), Order of the White Eagle with Swords, appointment as Commander (London, 10 March 1966) bound with appointment as Privy Councillor (also London, 10 March 1966), Grant of authority to display Count Robin de La Lanne-Mirrlees’ family armorial bearings upon the White Eagle, with signed photograph (London, 7 May 1966) bound with his appointment as personal aide-de-camp to the King in Great Britain (Paris, 2 September 1963) and Royal Order of the White Eagle, appointment of the Count’s son, Count Patrick de La Lanne Mirrlees, as Knight Commander (London, 7 May 1966) (various)
