A German silver kiddush cup Fürth, mid 18th century, maker's mark IR, attributed to Johann Jakob Runnecke ('J. Rimmonim') Partly fluted and on spreading foot with baluster stem, the bowl chased with flowers and scrolls, the rim engraved with Hebrew inscription from Deuteronomy, Chapter 16, Verse 13 which may be translated as: 'You shall hold the Feast of Booths for seven days', marked on bowl and foot-rim 5½in. (14cm.) high 3oz. (109gr.)
