A GERMAN SILVER-GILT TANKARD MARK OF JEREMIAS II FLICKER, AUGSBURG, 1610-1612 Tapering and on spreading foot, the body and hinged cover chased with hobnail ornament divided by matting, with double baluster finial, bifurcated thumbpiece and scroll handle, engraved beneath base with initials 'S' over 'E. A. F. VR' and later dated '1710', marked underneath 6 ½ in. (16.5 cm.) high 18 oz. 15 dwt. (583 gr.)
